Primo Maggio Concert is Italy’s biggest free one-day open-air concert that celebrates Italy’s “Labor Day”. Born in the 1990’s, it takes place in front of the breath-taking Cathedral of San Giovanni in Laterano (Rome). Each year over 800K music revellers descend on the Piazza to make this Italy’s biggest free live concert. The event is also broadcasted live on RAI TV, Italy’s national broadcaster, beginning at 3pm non-stop until midnight and with viewing figures that have peaked at over 8 million. Past headliners have included chart-topping Italian and international acts such as Subsonica, Negramaro, Oasis, Led Zeppelin, Skunk Anansie, Editors – to mention a few.

For any European act, this is a great opportunity to play a huge concert in the Italian calendar and promote their music to millions of potential new fans!
